Introduction

Lines 3 and 4 formed one continuous line paralleling the Merrimac Loop Trail (access road), starting at just west of the mine entrance. As the data indicates, the mine workings on both lines is approximately ten meters below the surface. In addition, like line 1, some discrete areas along Line 3 indicate the possibility of water filled voids.
