Comprehensive Planning Consultants
Like many small jurisdictions, with limited personnel resources, Montgomery County is using a variety of consultants to help with background and policy research and plan design. The Comprehensive Plan RFP was awarded to Herd Planning and Design, Ltd, a private consulting firm based in Virginia. In addition, the County has benefitted from the work performed by graduate students from the Urban Affairs and Planning Department, Virginia Tech. Following is a list of the consultants and the projects they have worked on for the County.
