• CENTER FOR COMMUNITY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

  The site, sponsored by the University of Wisconsin Cooperative Extension Service, includes materials on Downtown/Business district economic development, tourism, employee turnover, and the role of agriculture in sustainable economies, as well as some interesting (and useful) development tools and techniques.

• NATIONAL CONGRESS FOR COMMUNITY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

  According to the site's blurb, NCCED, a trade organization, advocates community-based development industry.

• MOUNTAIN ASSOCIATION FOR COMMUNITY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (MACED)

  The site, based in Kentucky, provides resources and tools for economic development in Central Appalachia, including an extensive list of web-based resources on community economic development and sustainability.

• NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR COUNTY COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

  NACCED provides technical aid to county economic development organizations and departments. While some material is available to the general public, most of the materials require membership in the organization.

• LABORATORY FOR COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

  The site, maintained by the University of Illinois, provides access to materials on tourism, economic data, communities and telecommunication, and various resources (presentations, articles, factsheets, and links).
